Welp Wednesdays: More Games, Less Politics

This is us after a day of reading political news...

We're confused. Then, we're in shock. Then, we're hurting. Then, we're like WTF.

As you can imagine, trying to make politics fun in this 2020 climate is quite challenging. Whether you're a liberal or a conservative, the current dialogue between the two parties can be both messy and toxic.

So, where does that leave our politically-themed game?

Welp, we won't be making any changes to the theme. haha

Part of our mission is show that politics can be fun and bring people together through a shared experience. When you play Catty Liberal, there isn't an idea that liberal = good and conservative = evil. Instead, the game is all about using your head to win.

This Friday, we'll be wrapping up Phase 1 testing for our game. We'll receive feedback from friends, family, and associates from different backgrounds around the country. This feedback will allow us to see if we're close to achieving our mission or have much more work to do. Our guess is the latter. After all, it's takes A LOT of trial and error to create something truly amazing. :)

As we sift through feedback, we'll continue to post some political content, but keep our focus on game development and appreciation.

Look out for more fun posts that don't make you shrivel and sulk.
