It's Mooooonday! So, what's the mood?
The mood is #exhausted.
Last week was a nightmare. Jacob Blake, a Black man, was shot several times in the back by police in Kenosha, WI. The shooting, which happened in front of Blake's children, left Blake paralyzed with severe injuries to his internal organs.

Protests erupted almost immediately after the shooting. Similar to other cities, peaceful protesters were eventually met with more violent individuals.
A white teenage vigilante, Kyle Rittenhouse, shot three people last Tuesday. Two of those people died. While Kyle describes the shooting as self-defense, witnesses recall Kyle intimidating protesters with a gun earlier that evening.

Debates are now raging online. After the release of several conflicting video and eyewitness accounts, the American public is torn over both the shooting of Jacob Blake and the arrest of Kyle Rittenhouse (were these events justified?). Nothing is helping to calm America's racial and political divide.
No matter what you think about the recent events in Kenosha, it's clear that the American public is not communicating. We aren't listening to one another and the tension is only rising...
