RNC Night 1: The Radical Left!

Last night kicked off the Republican National Convention (RNC) 2020. Speakers included S.C. Senator Tim Scott, Former Governor of S.C. Nikki Haley, Donald Trump Jr., and many more. All speakers made the case for why America needs Donald Trump for four more years. 

After watching several RNC speeches, the message was loud and clear. If you vote for Joe Biden in November, then you are supporting "the radical left!" 

Similar to the 2016 RNC, many of this year's speakers chose to paint a "Doomsday" picture of America. In particular, Donald Trump Jr. emphasized the danger that the "radical left" poses to our First Amendment rights. According to Don Jr., if you don't support the Republican Party, then you'll never be able to voice an opinion. EVAAAR. ha

All jokes aside, what was up with Don Jr.'s teary eyes during all of that fearmongering?...The Internet has ideas, but curious minds want to know for real.

Anyways, Don Jr. is right about one thing. Democrats do have a problem. While Republicans "fall in line" to support a message, the Democrats cannibalize one another, leaving many Democrats afraid to speak up in public circles. 

Much of the discord within the Democratic Party is due to the growing tension between moderates and progressives. If you're not super liberal, then you're evil. Okay, maybe not evil, but kind of a little bit evil... 

Perhaps Democrats should take a couple of queues from Republicans.

Yes. Yes, we said it. 

Although the RNC had many untruthful and slow moments, its messaging was loud and clear.
